This Bertha Palmer luncheon will feature Kathryn Chesley, an historian and impersonator,  as Bertha Palmer. Bertha Palmer was one of the two most important economic pioneers in Sarasota, along with John Ringling, as well as one of the most influential women of her day in America.

This event will be held at the Oaks Club, 301 MacEwen Drive, Osprey. Following the luncheon and presentation, those interested may proceed to the Oaks Bayside where renovated or reconstructed versions of Palmer’s covered dock, reflecting pool and gazebo stand adjacent to the former site of her home, “The Oaks”.
