David Blight is the Sterling Professor of American History and of African American Studies and winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom

Director of the Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance and Abolition at Yale University, Professor Blight is much in demand as a speaker.
